One of the experts on capturing the young is Steve Bannon. and he was just at Luigi’s trial. I think it would be wise to keep an eye on what they are up to in the healthcare argument trying to capture the young vote and the angry vote.

BTW, I say "decided" in July because, as Deja Foxx noted, District 7 is very Democratic, so the winner is usually decided in the primary, which will be on July 15th this year. While the general election will be on Sept. 23rd, the Dem primary winner will be facing the Republican primary winner.

When a member of Congress dies, a certain time is assigned to give potential candidates time decide to run. In District 7, it was clear Rep. Grijalva's daughter would run as a familiar face. But luckily, Deja Foxx had time to build a campaign. July 15 is DEM PRIMARY. 9/23/25 is GENERAL election.

Sad to say, that district had NO vote in Congress for an entire year as Rep. Grijalva refused to retire after he had a stroke. Month after month, he kept saying he was recovering and would go back to doing his job. In the end, he had to be carried out of his office.

You're kidding! Dems should have put in place some kind of limit on how long you are away for illness. He was getting a paycheck but that district had no rep. Shame he couldn't have gracefully stepped down.

I would agree with a limit. I know of at least 2 other Democrats who have failed for long periods to be in their DC offices or on the floor voting, due to illnesses.

It's time for a new party to emerge in America and they should rewrite the constitution. Make it modern and good for all, not just land owning white men. Call it the Freedom party and bring the center left, and center right together. Leave MAGA and the Woke left behind.
