Seems to be banned potentially under Terrorrism act. What specific actions are the UK government going to argue fit their definition of “terrorist”? I can almost guarantee whatever arguments they make can be applied more convincingly to Israeli’s actions. How does that work then?

Yep: terrorist is a pointless term: undefined in international law, because it’s so politically subjective. Every attempt at a definition you can find results in Israel being classed as a terrorist state. On the plus side this publicity has made me look at donating to Palestine Action Group.
