The rational response would be about small margins etc etc but we've been paying for poor chance conversion all season.

Two pts out of west ham, wolves and Ipswich games is awful. Like you I just can't see us putting together the form for a European push. It's been pretty sustained poor form now.

Finding it more and more difficult to point to something - injuries, luck, whatever - after points dropped. Just that creeping feeling that “it’s not good enough”. Can’t keep a clean sheet, can’t control a game and missed a ridiculous number of chances all season long.

We did everything we should do yesterday, there was nothing wrong with our performance apart from an ability to convert all those big chances. So many games we could & should have scored 4 or 5 this season, yet we haven’t

I think that's true of the 2nd half. 1st half was v flat. And we gift teams goals. Plus over the 3 games, considering the oppo, performance levels were off for large chunks. I thought after we scored the momentum was with us but didn't think it was as much as it might have been

Yeah, but having a flat half & conceding a soft goal doesn’t mean we still didn’t do enough to win the game, we did. And we had 2 huge chances 1st half too. But this is the point, let in a daft goal & don’t finish the chances. The end result is a daft drawer
