I've seen more coverage of a 17 year old getting a super license on Canada news sites than anything about a Indy 500/GP clash.

Indy 500 is just not as important up here as it is for folks down there. I get they are on the same continent, but there are frequent clashes in Europe with large motorsport series' without anyone even batting an eye.
