I saw him on TV. He was also an MP and, in time past, worked for the city of Toronto. Has good communication skills on TV. On CTV he thanked PM for his service and his work ...
No thanks Frank. I’m also not sure about any of the higher profile Liberal cabinet ministers as Trudeau’s replacement. Carney is a non-starter. I do think Sean Fraser has the right mix of brains, edge and comms smarts to capture voter attention and be a proper leader. But I guess he’s done.
Why not? Not saying he's a good candidate, not saying he deserves the position, but there's nothing wrong with making the leadership run a proper competition. Get different views and people running, it only adds to the credibility of the change.
Why not? Typically liberals take up the mushy middle. Conservative on economics, liberal on social policy. Trudeau disaffected many of the party on the slightly right of the party.
Baylis: I don't believe in career politicians, and I think that's the norm now.
No. Canada has one of the highest turnover rates among comparator democracies. A handful of "career politicians" says nothing about Canadian politics as a whole. #PnPCBC
