I do love a book with footnotes! A middle grade novel that shows the power of words and has compassion at its heart. Despite Mayowa being 10 and the simplicity of the sentence structure, there is much for adults to love (and plenty of new vocab to learn). A must for any KS2 classroom. #kidlituk 💙📚
