When I was 12, we lived on a farm. My mom hit a flying juvenile saw-whet owl with her car at night. 💔 We cared for it over several days. A week later it had recovered and we let it go…I hope its descendants still nest on the property. 🦉
No you don’t, people need to stop having wild animals as pets. It’s cruel, they need to be in nature to live free. Not be stuck in a cage or home the rest of its life. Come get some common sense
I have! But from far away when I was driving home one night. Took a photo but the shot looks farther away than what it actually was. Didn’t want to disturb it though.
In such OWL presentation centers they keep the owls artificially awake which is a lot of stress for them and they die early. Owls have to sleep during daytime in caches!

Wild animals aren’t pets.
Asking for an owl lover
Owls are not pets. Keeping owls as pets is unsafe and bad for the owls.
(I don't know that any of these owls are being kept as pets; the videos may all come from OWL Rescues for all I know. I just had to say…)
Do they even know they exist?
i have actually never seen an owl in nature
