An impressive body of work that shows how difficult it is to manage a coalition, while balancing political & military needs within an environment of competing personal interests. Eisenhower at SHAEF springs to mind. If only it were as simple as dealing with the military objectives.

A few things: For completely different reasons than the Trump admin. the Biden admin. also found an endless supply of justifications for inaction. It is conceivable that the Trump admin. could be worse or potentially better. It's wide open.
