Out of possession, he does his work, tracking back and pressing, but he should be the least handcuffed of the 3, so when you get possession back, he's key to the attacking phase

Lamps and Gerrard were too similar, where Rice has REAL holding/destroyer attributes/mentality to compliment/cover for Judes attacking focus.
Wharton has that Carrick/recycler role, but may not be at that level yet
