Now get the labor party to BE an honourable party which genuinely follows international law, does not kow tow to Zionist lobby, and stands up to mining lobby for the sake of our environment. Liberals lost. Labor's win is only based on that. Or let Greens be new labor!
Once in a generation landslide victory. Once in a generation chance for a bold, progressive, and ambitious agenda. Bigger action on cost of living, housing, infrastructure, climate change.
Can you now reform welfare? We all are entitled to it & it only takes one disaster for any of us to need it. Itβs not a burden, itβs our safety net. Robodebt shouldβve taught you that cruelty & othering is abhorrent.
Gentleman Jim I salute you - your comments & Albo's speech were alike rousing and inspiring. My hopes: Climate action, inequality & raise Jobseeker, Murdoch royal commission.
can we pls have something that gently deflates the housing bubble while growing manufacturing???
eg -ve gearing & capital gains discount restricted to one property only combined with a superpower bond (or similar) to divert investment $ out of housing into processing ore?
Nice one Jim π
Continue the good work, when you are back in Canberra.
Be bold, ambitious and ensure generations remember this Govt for their far reaching legislation.
Be the Treasurer who reformed the tax system for all to benefit.
It was wonderful to see you so excited for Australia's future when you were talking on Insiders this morning.
You made me feel excited, too:-)
A new era.
you're a good man Charlie Brown, gracious last night, same this morning while also being thoughtful and looking at the bigger picture and the way forward, I feel we are in good hands with you, Katy (a friend) and Albo steering the ship :)
Same guy.
Same guy I've been watching since his integrity & heart affected me during the distressing Rudd/Gillard leadership vote time.
He will be better in his PM role now.
Albo will be one of Australia's best-loved PMs, because of his down-to-earth, caring nature, & putting Australia first always.
No Jim we thank you, with over 300 different cultures in your electorate plus our indigenous family you have represented us humbly. πππππ
Loved what you said and how you said it, about Angus. You were gracious without sugarcoating his performance. Shame that in a room of journalists the responsibility fell to you.
Iβll add bc I canβt help myself, it was βfantasticβ. Great move.
Well done, I feel a huge sense of relief at the election results...and incredibly chuffed that your colleague Rowan Holzberger won his seat (my electorate!!).
I noticed the homeless didnβt get a mention during the campaign. By homeless I mean those who donβt have a 5% deposit to buy a home - the ones living in tents, cardboard boxes and cars. The ones on the pavements between Sydney Central and circular quay and all cities. What is Laborβs plan for them?
Comments
Now if you wouldn't mind getting some decent sleep then go out and go your job!
Now Labor move forward without being blamed for the Liberal mess, the economy wholly owned by Labor, thatβs an historic win.
Are going going to do anything to save the children of Palestine ?
I haven't felt this positive about Australians in a very long time.
For me it was Julia and before that 1993
re go big.

becoming the John Howard of his era?
It is a terrible thing to say about
someone who entered politics to
βfight Toriesβ, but there are parallels
between the two leaders
You made me feel excited, too:-)
A new era.
Who was the Albo we've had for most of the last 3 years?
#auspol
The next three years could be a very different Albo
Same guy I've been watching since his integrity & heart affected me during the distressing Rudd/Gillard leadership vote time.
He will be better in his PM role now.
Albo will be one of Australia's best-loved PMs, because of his down-to-earth, caring nature, & putting Australia first always.
Albo must work to make it real!
-Raise the Rate
- Mass public housing
- cancel AUKUS money black hole.
