If the right wing press and their Tory allies want to go after politicians' cvs, then why didn't they go after Iain Duncan Smith when he was the actual party leader?

the University he attended in Perugia teaches Italian language to foreigners. I was lucky enough to do a short course there. Someone may have 'embellished' IDS's cv but that's not why he got elected as tory leader
As well as this his name is a construct. Born George Ian Smith he added the Duncan from his father’s name and added an additional i to Iain. Made up man with made up name. Lives in a house on his father in laws estate a liar and a crook
The dark hand that has manipulated the Tory party for two decades. I wonder how long it will be before IDS and Badenoch fall out with each other?
Kemi will need to watch her back. IDS is very good at back stabbing.
His name is George Smith he uses his middle names to effect an air of gravitas. If that doesn't demonstrate what a vacuous person he is then I don't know what else can.
Best still, now that they know about his omission/indiscretion; why don't they declare this in any article on Labour MPs to provide reference, balance, and context???
Or they could go after Smith, George Ian (note spelling) Duncan's name since he isn't even honest about that (see also Al Johnson, Sue Ellen Braverma, Diane Harding, Mary Truss, Gideon Osbourne etc etc etc). Nom de crimes?
Untruths in the Tory party are so commonplace they aren't news. Whereas (potential) dishonesty in the Labour party is more newsworthy.
That said, of course, the right wing press see it as their duty to denigrate the left at any opportunity that comes their way.
Why did they carry on calling him "Iain Duncan Smith" when Duncan is his MIDDLE name, and he was just trying to sound all posh and double-barrelled? He's common as muck "Iain Smith." And that's the nicest thing he's been called!

The right and not so honourable Grant Shapps!
Just to make him sound more important than he is.
Pretentious twat.
