That's what I was thinking, that we'll have to wait for Steam to add support. Took about a year for the first Switch controllers, hopefully it'll be sooner than that cuz I REALLY wanna use that GC controller on dolphin lol
Very likely yes. Every other NSO controller i've tried connecting has worked on my computer. maybe there'd be some remapping required, but all things considered it will likely work.
That's what I was thinking. We had to wait a year for steam to add native Switch Controller support. So I expect a similar wait for switch 2 controllers. They have more buttons, they ain't gonna be recognized the same as the previous NS controllers
Maybe in the future for Linux at least, it has drivers for the Joy-Cons and other NSO controllers. I plugged my SNES controllers into my Steam Deck a while ago and it worked fine (well, once you configured your relevant emulators)
To get the other nso controllers to work i had to download a program called rewasd but idk anythinf about it because i downloaded it on a whim when i was confused and tired and it probably doesnt support the gamecube controller yet
