I acknowledge many who support this bill do it for compassionate reasons
However, consider this
Whether you like it or not, assisted dying will be used instead of investment in health care, particularly our underfunded palliative care service
I think there is a distinction between this and imposing religious laws, albeit a fine one
I'm extremely pro assisted, but wonder why we've gone this route.
MPs should consider why the House of Lords is in favour
Perhaps they better reflect the reality of the difficult decisions facing the elderly?
the US] sector of the lobby does indeed wish to impose its views. It may not be remotely representative, but it seems disproportionately loud for its very small support base.
Even though my MP is a practising Catholic, I hope she has considered the thoughts of her constituents
