Once upon a time I drove a Prius that started having either electrical or battery trouble (I would have had to go through expensive maintenance on the first to determine the second), and so the master alarm went off.
I had to do some research to find out the “turn-off” button is inside the glove compartment. And you have to press it for three seconds for it to work.
Oooh. I like "witch's cauldron"! I usually describe that as the "alarming buttcrack" light and calling it "witch's cauldron" seems less likely to get people moving away from me on the group W bench, as it were.
Yeah, I just did that a few weeks ago. If there's a tire shop near you, they'll probably do it for free, and it only takes a minute. It's a whole lot less fuss than fighting with the machines at gas stations.

I honestly thought it was a curvaceous lady's hips in a miniskirt, pointing to her ... you understand.
I never noticed how hard it is to find a place to inflate tires until I started getting that light.
When you do find one, who carries that many quarters? 🤬

Oil burn and cauldron bubble
