Next step: to improve recycling ratios. A cross party group, led by Green Cllr Abi Finch will be taking the waste consultation results and exploring how we best do that. Come on Labour, let’s work together properly. Pls don’t undermine the work of the committee by chasing sensationalist headlines.😘💚

I'm pleased there was a positive outcome. But isn't reporting that Labour were "scaremongering about hypothetical outcomes" a similar sensationalist statement of the kind you are accusing Labour of? It's these petty attacks all parties do to each other which I find unnecessary & distasteful.

1/4 I agree petty attacks are distasteful. But Labour's petition against 'monthly' bin collections made false claims & actively worked against the official consultation which asked residents for vital and useful waste information because it confused people about what they were filling in. They

2/4 promoted the petition over the consultation, sometimes even saying they were linking to the latter, when in fact it was the former. We want and need to work cross party with Bristol Labour, but it doesn't alway feel like the spirit of collaboration is there. Which is tricky in a commitee system.
