Pride used to be a source of joy to me, as a young lesbian who fought hard for lesbian and gay civil rights. I saw a ton of injustice, up to and including a stabbing hate crime on myself outside a lesbian bar. Today's Pride doesn't celebrate lesbians at all, and is almost entirely for straights.
