Thinking about creating a new fun/danger scale for tools. The higher the number the more fun but also the more dangerous
Chainsaws are probably an 8 or a 9. I'm sure there are things that are more fun and more dangerous but I don't know what they are. A table saw maybe?

The only way up from here is (a) produces fire or (b) has a seat in a cage

I have been considering buying a starter welding kit and my wife is like "ummmm.... remember that guy who lit himself on fire?"

Battery powered nail guns are maybe a 6. Super fun, and mostly pretty safe, but occasionally VERY dangerous

I remember when I first got a chainsaw and started cutting logs up in my yard. My neighbor came over and told me how dangerous they are. He was really worried. And I was like, I KNOW BUT WATCH ME CUT THIS LOG!
