I put sunblock on a whole ass half an hour before leaving in the morning and nevertheless the wind while biking makes me cry which loosens up the sunblock and gets some in my eyes. Maybe sunglasses would help, but I have to find some and not immediately break them
The only sunblock I’ve ever found for my face that isn’t guaranteed to end up in my eyes is Neutrogena Sport Face. But I think my biggest problem is rubbing my face with my hands. (And it still sometimes ends up in my eyes. Just. Less.)
I make my daughter use a 50 sunscreen then set it with powder sunscreen. (Think Irish skin.) She bikes everyday to school so it’s either clear UV glasses or sunglasses. Don’t know if this will help, but it helps her. We are all pale in Cali so it’s whatever works for us!
I just realized this also happens hours later in the hot tub so it’s just having sun block on my face a thing I must do as someone with as little melanin as I have
The answer is yes. Every day. Rain or shine. I’ve raised my kid that way. I was raised that way. 48 and amazing skin but it sucks monkey butt every day to remember. The powder is nice. It’s great for retouches. If you want the details on mine let me know.
