1/ @lizdye.bsky.social & I just telephonically attended what we thought was going to be an all-day evidentiary hearing in the Alex Jones bankruptcy regarding approval of a settlement that would have paid out the Texas Sandy Hook families.

Jones showed up prepared to offer witnesses & evidence contesting the proposed settlement. Instead, Judge Lopez denied the settlement from the bench without receiving evidence or even argument from any party.

No sane person *who intends to comply* with the law would buy FSS with its debt...
Lopez said that what the families want is "finality" - but that's not true. What they want is for Alex Jones to stop defaming them & paying himself $540,000 a year while they get $0.
