And moving on to artists I know less of, we've got David Rovics telling the story of The Battle of Blair Mountain, a worker uprising in West Virginia in 1921. Which was also the first aerial bombing on US soil. Not Pearl Harbor, but the USAF bombing civilians.
And finally The Commonwealth of Toil. I do quite love this cover of it, but while this video credits it to Pete Seeger, that definitely isn't his voice singing, and I cannot for the life of me figure out who it is.
Hope y'all will forgive me being political on funny belly kink account. But workers rights matter a lot to me, and I can think of few better ways to spread the message than sing-along music. Super hard to not get the point when you're literally singing along with it.
