This is what I've been saying for more than 50 years. This is my interpretation of the 2nd amendment: everyone can own as many guns as they want AS LONG AS THOSE GUNS WERE AVAILABLE in 1791, when the 2nd amendment was written.

I grew up with gun culture, hunting that is. Crack shot with a .22 rifle for years when I was young. Couldn't kill animals though, just cans, bottles, targets. The man who originated the AR style rifles made them to kill people. That was the purpose, war machines. He wouldn't approve of this.

Same here.. I don't want guns banned just ban semi automatic weapons high capacity magazines & fix the loopholes like domestic violence, people who have severe mental issues can't own a gun, an anyone who leaves a gun unlocked so a child can get it,That hurts me the most. Avoidable accidental deaths

Yeah. We have pretty reasonable gun laws in Canada. You can have one if you pass a test but all automatic firearms are banned. Period. I'm happy with our laws, I feel safer tbh.
