ICE has blanketed the entire neighborhood in a massive cloud of tear gas. The Home Depot and several other local businesses have closed for the day due to the tear gas.

Is it truly ICE? The men are likely pardoned Jan. 6 thugs. Where is Gavin Newsom? Isn’t what’s happening in California worthy of calling up the state’s National Guard? Noncitizens as well as citizens are at risk. Also, is HomeDepot corporate good with raids happening in its store parking lots?

True. My hope is that since a state’s National Guard is made up of local, part-time/young soldiers who probably joined for tuition $, they won’t want to harm peaceful civilians. If called up by Newsom, couldn’t he order the guard to defend civilians from the feds? Naive, yes. But that was the hope.
