It isn't overcompensating. It's what they should have been doing all along. Enforcing anti-corruption laws should be the absolute lowest bar for anyone who wants to be a public servant. It's the one thing that should be universally agreed upon across all political parties.

That’s the thing - Trump has been committing crimes his whole life and he never has been held accountable because we don’t care if rich people commit white collar crimes 95% of the time because our justice system is almost solely focused on blue collar crimes.
