I’m afraid because I think Hamas is gambling that Netanyahu won’t actually do this. But that would be a mistake because 82% of Israelis support ethnically cleansing Gaza, according to a recent Haaretz poll, and Trump has never imposed any consequences on Israel for anything.

It’s no coincidence. Survivors of harms imposed by others sometimes change from the experience, to either be repelled by such behavior or to adapt it, both as survival strategies.
