I was wearing my hair in a ponytail which i used to rarely do, but i was too lazy to put it in a bun that day. And i was checking out customers and they said they liked my hair and i’ve been wearing my hair in a ponytail since!

i work in customer service / hospitality, so it's rare for a day to pass without one person who sours my mood.

i ring up a mom and her daughter while i'm just drained. the little girl looks at me and she says that she really likes my hair and she thinks that i'm pretty.

that made my entire day.

I noticed that a stranger was looking for a specific company that was right next to where I work, but moved somewhere else. They only spoke Russian though, but I was able to show them the way and hold a full conversation even with my very limited level of Russian! They told me I was good haha
