Maybe, but AOC doesn’t pull her punches or care if she offends people for speaking her mind/truth/experience. That was part of Kamala’s problem (0 disrespect to ,la) but she hedged on some sensitive issues like Gaza. AOC doesn’t hedge. She stands for what she believes in regardless of the politics.
I love Alexandria and Jasmine, but I agree there too many who won’t vote for a woman. They just won’t. I am liking Gov Pritzker. He’s not pulling punches. I would love to see a woman in the WH in my lifetime but I would rather overcome the current regime first.
My dear, you need to bridge the gaps between 2 very divided group of people, and to do so, you need to find a candidate that the other half can also vote for, when they get more frustrated in this situation. That other half is not ready for a female president, no matter who that person is. Sadly…
That bridge has been burned. The right wing in the US won’t vote for someone reasonable anyway. I might as well stick to my principles. Bernie would have beaten Trump, but Hillary was the “reasonable” candidate. Where did that get us? So was Kamala. AOC says what she thinks, Loud & Proud. I Love it.
Sometimes soon, some people who voted for him, will be frustrated enough to vote for the other candidate. You will see! People need jobs and money to live. This mass firing will create a huge dissatisfaction. Then, none of those jobless people will ever vote for someone like him again! I have hope!
people will sour on him when the economy tanks, but don’t seem to care that he trashes our democracy as long as the money’s coming in. They’d keep supporting him for the money. What’s needed isn’t a better candidate, but campaign finance reform, kill Citizens United, clean up social media.
Well, if dictatorship takes full control, then it’s impossible to turn it around for years… and it’s happening. The situation is so dangerous now and different. For many years people fought to implement democracy. And now it’s an ongoing planing and working to demolish it.
