Currently the NDP is in power.
The previous BC “Liberal” Party (in power from 2001-2017 under Gordon Campbell & Cristy Clarke) had zero affiliation w/ the federal party and was ideologically closer to the Conservatives (evidenced by Harper and Doug Ford both giving Campbell plumb appointment jobs).
