It's all fun and games until you have to make something new with different angles, or figure out WHY every angle is suddenly not correct, or make machines that can ensure that every angle is correct, or develop software to run those machines, or build processes to ensure that those angles are right.
Toyota still has executives start by working the line specifically because understanding how a car is built is fundamental to quality and running a car company. This rush to code that is not fully understood shows how little companies value quality.
