There are also big chunks of the UK
which didn’t vote for Brexit. It was such a slim majority based on misinformation. Even NI was split, some areas were pro remain, some pro Brexit.
Cameron/Osbourne have a lot to answer for. Response to 2008 crash was short sighted and plunged us into years of Public Service underfunding, then they called the Brexit referendum because they were scared of UKIP. That wouldn’t be so bad but they made the result binding on a 50:50 vote.
Brexiters won’t believe the statistics or won’t care. They brought the roof down on the whole country but are satisfied they did because they’ve been told they got their ‘sovrinty’ back and feel good that they put one over on people who are cleverer than them.
Everyone needs to write to their MP, and keep writing every couple of months or so when new info is published. If you lent your MP your vote (as I did) make sure they know. A simple letter with a few facts & a personal story is all you need. See https://www.writetothem.com
And the fact that the Indy figures are off by a large amount: Brexit is costing the UK economy £100 billion a year ($124 billion), according to an analysis by Bloomberg Economics.
Add the £40bn in lost taxes and you are at the figure quoted here: https://t.ly/TKySU
It is really strange the Sky News press preview last night featured all the MSM filled with the usual right wing scare stories, but the Indy wasn’t mentioned at all. I wonder why this omission?
The Independent, not the i. The Indie is an online only subscription news source, and I definitely recommend it. Whether it counts as MSM, I don't know.

So frustrating.
On the contrary, in the BBC view, Brexit is a big political achievement for Farage, an example he is key to our social life and so on and so forth.
Disgusting.

Of course, most hardcore brexiteers are reasonably comfortable thank you very much, and largely insulated against any real economic hardship.
Odd that.
