So... excited about the Brexit reset?
It looks like the thinnest of gruel, with most of the small gains punted into longer term discussions.
And yet it is being treated as a betrayal of apocalyptic proportions by the RW media, and by Reform and Tory politicians.
They'll dine out on it for years.

I want to be happy about it so hard. But with real term benefits.
It could take a year or more to tidy up the fine print of even this hyper-minimalist deal, with every single painful advance met by a fresh avalanche of wailing from the RW media.
What a wasted opportunity for all
the fury and so little upside.
The Brexiters will get over it and the rest of us can get on with it.
Brexiters really need to pipe down (what’s left of them, that is).
A serious amount of Russian bots have been reactivated on FB today.
After all, they get a totally consistent (albeit completely wrong) message from every RW media outlet they turn to.
They were always going to turn supernova with even a single atom of movement towards the EU.
Given that, why not move much further and faster? Their reaction would have been pretty much identical.
This is some of what Boris Johnson wrote. No, really!
Definitely lose-lose.
The "reset" is limited and I find Starmer's tentative approaches v disappointing.
What a wasted opportunity for 100% of the fury and yet so little upside.
Our ambition should be to rejoin the full-fat one, not some pale shadow version.
