The only thing working in its favour is I can see even more franchise based stuff from the streamers and less original stuff but the budgets probably won’t ever get back to the level that was approved during the pandemic era.

He’s talked a lot about how s2’s budget got slashed and it led to changes. consistent with Jeremy Renner’s complaints about the salary offered to him for Hawkeye s2. Everyone bet big and that bet was a massive financial mistake.
I saw the thing about the horror episode being dropped (which sounded amazing!) but other than the mad idea to make 5 series I thought he got what he wanted as the budget was committed in the peak post-Covid days. Still, if this was a reduced budget he didn’t do badly!
It’s weird. The end was a bit of anti-climax because the rest was so good and that just had to (obviously) slot into the film. Nice little bit with Bix to be fair.
I think I didn't really watch it properly as I watched the final two episodes kind of on auto pilot. I prefer the mandolorian as you still don't know where the story may go
At its best the Mandalorian is amazing but feels like it’s lost its way a bit with all the bases they have to cover and things to tie in. This was a nice tight story with some great performances but hey, nice to have two decent Star Wars shows out there. Skeleton Crew was decent too.

Gorman I think changed the most and they limited the scope from what it was going to be (which I think probably ended up being an effective change)
