We get that here in California from people out of state people who don’t realize the first rains just life the oil on the roads and makes them extremely slick. It takes a good downpour to wash it off.

Me: it’s really not bad, just be safe and do everything (speed, braking, etc) in moderation
Half of Texas: okay so I’ll drive 10 MPH while straddling two lanes with my emergency signals on
Other half of Texas: so do like 75 while weaving in and out of traffic?
