Why is it consistently off schedule? Is it because the schedule is wrong for the traffic flow or because the buses aren’t leaving the yard timely or because of breakdowns? There is a company called Swiftly that helped CapMetro figure out why their schedules were off.

The H line is the same as Metro’s 120, $154M wasted to Sound Transit. H line is no faster than it was riding the 120, nothing “Rapid” about it. Removed all express buses from Burien to downtown Seattle, that would take 30 min or less, to funnel riders on hour+ ride. Result is people driving more.

That’s my bad, I thought all RapidRides were funded in partnership with Sound Transit, so not money to, but money from. Looking closer some are, not all. Thank you for clarifying it. Some RapidRides may be more rapid, the H is not, and removing express buses from Burien to Downtown hurts commuters.

I hear you on the 121. The decision to suspend that route wasn't directly tied to start of service on the H Line - Metro prioritized all-day routes everywhere over peak only routes. But yeah, there's a lot we could still do to improve the H Line, along with improve other connections.
