It would be helpful if Trump in his ample public statements would clarify that moot point.
When I look att what he is doing, it seems that there is a big probability that he is working for Putin/Russia => it is a big risk to let USA get any defense related information from the rest of "The West" nowadays.

It is newsworthy though, that other NATO countries don’t want the US there.
Maybe NATO doesn’t exist without the US - or maybe it’s time to recognize that the US is now just Putin in disguise.
