Actually I have an easier question for you. How do you personally feel the families of the people who those hands and teeth belonged to would react to seeing them as decoration in your house? Do you think their first reaction would be 'oh cool'?

I genuinely believe they'd rather I have and take care of them rather than them ending up in a dump. But I tell you what. If they came to me and asked for them, I'd give it to them. Completely for free, without question.
Hey man the cool thing about other people's bodies are your beliefs don't matter. They made a choice and you are disrespecting it. If they wanted to end up on a mantle they would have made arrangements for that.
okay yes 'I wouldn't try to sell them back their grandfather's hand' is not some magnanimous flex you really didn't even need to say it at all it's kinda assumed.
For another you know how you could settle this easy? if you had documentation for your human remains.
Okay, I think it's important to say that question was clearly a thought exercise, do not fucking bother the family if you can somehow find out.
The dead are dead and we have no way of knowing what that means, but we know how the living feel, and that is a deeply weird and shitty thing to do to them.

Actually, I've become genuinely curious avout where the bones came from and aim to find out.
