You seem to forget that the Lions had a depleted defense, they didn't even have secondaries to rely on anymore. A healthy Lions team vs Eagles would be a real competitive game, unlike the trash this past Super Bowl.

The Eagles’ 2025 schedule have 11/17 games against 2024 playoff teams. It might be a difficult schedule but I love the idea of starting the season against a team that got smoked at home in their last game as a heavy favorite.
