I think it’s gonna change 😅 this is the first GIF (and representative of all top GIFs) that come up ON THE BLUESKY APP when you search “skeet” in GIFs. Idk if this is a millennial thing? But unless followed by the word “shooting” skeet has one particular meaning. Like “toots” but way worse 😂😂😂😂

Yup. We all know. But words can have the same sounds and different meanings, and meanings change over time. "Tweet" was just the noise a bird makes, but now (generically) it means a post on a site like this. Most people don't know the scatalogical meaning, so it doesn't really bug me any more.
