My youngest (of 4) graduated from high school today, & by the end of this month, they’ll be a legal adult. I had my 1st baby at 20, my 4th at 40. I’ve been hands-on parenting almost my entire adult life. Gonna need to figure out what the hell to do with myself now. - ThreadSky

Get a puppy. You can re-live sleepless nights, messes on the floor and unruly behaviour. Besides that, offspring tend to return for food and laundry facilities all too often 😆.

I have 5 kids from 29 - 40. Was a mom with at least 1 kid at home from the time I was 23 until I was 54.
They are successfully launched & it is lovely to have time, money, & energy to hang with the grands, volunteer, travel, & just be. Launched myself into retirement last week. Life is good.
