Please start using the term “unlawfully RIF’ed” just as we used the term “unlawfully terminated”.
RIFs *can* be used in a legitimate way, which requires:
-30 days notice at a MINIMUM
-Reassignments
-Veterans have retention preference
-Notification of state governments
