Eh do what I know a lot of folks who dislike something in the vid, say it in comments, unless the creator is actually massively active and deleting comments people will notice it...unless youtube moves where comments go again
And they you'll get a copyright strike from YouTube just because it sounds similar to some copyrighted music and this is a common problem. Or other generated music that is made "commercial".
I can sense they didn't want to touch the flaming wreckage that is their copyright system with a 10 foot pole, so they're demonstrating here they actually don't give a shit at all.
Noscript does what it says on the tin, it disables all scripts and requires you to turn the ones you want to allow on. it can be a nuisance if you just want to turn off ads but it is far more secure on what it prevents, including anything that runs malicious programs.
I see, I though it'd break most sites that today rely in JS to barely work, but it shouldn't hurt to heavily restrict them at first and see what to allow 🤔
with most sites you can just turn back on the scripts for the base address itself and you'll get all of the core functionality of the site. Just remember you'll need to turn on more things to do any online shopping or such. It has a bit of a learning curve to know what to turn on and what not.
So... how long until everyone starts switching to peertube? I ask because this is like the 27th thing that would destroy any other company they've committed to.
Yeah exactly, I've been trying to use Peertube but it seems like the content is a little lacking there... especially ASMR wise.. it seems like there is only reposted youtube videos there for asmr there not owned by the reposter :(
It doesn't have the user base that youtube does yet, but I am hoping more people will start using it and uploading there soon. I use an instance called https://spectra.video/ myself.

But also Fuck AI. Wouldn't touch this with a 9ft pole.
- use YT with Firefox + uBlock Origin (+ Video Background Play Fix if in mobile) to not ever give money to them in any way
- download songs in MP3/videos in MP4 with sites like Y2Mate and save them with you forever without the risk of finding out these were removed
PeerTube looks interesting! Might do something with it.
Explain it more! I wanna know more about PeerTube!
It seems like anyone can post with a limited GB bandwith? but I'm not sure!
If you post stuff there, I'll check it out :)
