The decline of the wedding is fascinating to me. I have been to 4 weddings in adulthood and all 4 were well under 50 guests, 3 of the 4 casual backyard affairs. Many of my friends are married! They just don’t do a party. It’s partly being poor, but that’s not ALL it is, I don’t think.
