Reminder that the new COVID shot isn’t just a booster, it’s a new vaccine more effective against more variants. Important to get it and remind friends & family.

Few Americans have opted to be immunized against the coronavirus so far this fall: Just over 7 percent of adults and 2 percent of children had received a Covid-19 vaccine as of Oct. 14

I can’t believe how difficult it’s been to get reliable information on where to get vaccinated. Our county health department doesn’t do it anymore, my work only does the flu (though I think the uni did COVID vaccines for employees), the https://vaccines.org page sucks.
Funny enough I had the opposite happen last year, with my insurance wanting me to go elsewhere for my flu shot.
Thanks for the info
(Your mileage may vary, but this was the mildest shot for me so far)
having danced with Rona twice i have no desire for the third round to be with low immunity
Just got mine six days ago.

There's the novavax and a targeted one folk keep referring to as a booster AND bivalent boosters.
I'm usually good at sorting through bad data floods but I'm very confused on this one.
Pfizer, moderna, and Novavax all released updated 2023/2024 versions. Any one is a good option!

So new pfizer should be the targeted one now then.
Covid got us first :(
I'll get it anyway.
