He and Veltman for sure are big misses. But the chaotic, undefinable approach from Hurzeler thereafter is what is driving a wedge between him and fans. Everyone just walking around with a puzzled look on their face...... #bhafc
How can it look balanced and stable with an injury list as long as the Albion's and Mr Bloom assist stripping every season in order to buy the next new unproven value?
Sure Hurzeler has played his hand like a rookie, but it's not like he's been holding aces all season
I would say that a Premier League Manager ought to be a manager that can mitigate circumstance, have a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C and beyond. If the moment a few injuries hit there is no longer any expectation or accountability then what is the point of a squad or even a manager?
It's not just 'a few injuries' is it? It's the EPL high.
The winning runs all coincide with a stable and available squad, that's not luck.
Because of how the club is run plans B, C and so on have to involve 'kids' with no EPL experience, is FH 1 rookie too many, maybe, is this all on him NO.
I think we're also really missing Webster. I think him coming in for Dunk for that spell of games improved the defence massively. 11 goals conceded since his injury 😬
