the baseline for government computer security is already a lot higher than what you see elsewhere. it’s already an encrypted environment, it’s not some doc everyone can access. this is in line with IT protocols
Fair enough; I was a state CIO back in the days (pre-Office 2007) when “password-protected Word doc” didn’t mean good encryption like it generally does today.
some commenters are going on about bad opsec, but what they’re missing is this document is already behind a lot of layers of security, including being encrypted.
so let’s not make comments about IT security if we don’t know anything about the systems and protocols involved 😽
This is BASIC stuff. ANY decently led organisation has protocols for dealing with these eventualities. Incompetence on a grand scale, as seems to be the norm...
THAT'S RECKLESS, SO MANY ESPECIALLY I. THE HEALTH PROFESSION COUNT ON THIS TO HELP GUIDE US .. ESPECIALLY WHEN DISEASE OR VIRUSES RUN RAMPANT .. IN THE MEDICAL FIELD WE COUNTED HEAVILY ON THIS SITE TO HELP US KEEP UP WITH CHANGES NEEDED TO CARE FOR PUR PATIENTS
