I agree. I think they believe that none of these changes will affect them because they are the elite ... and let's be honest, if they have enough money, they'll still be able to access care.

When people end up sick or dead, they need realize that they are complicit in each and every death.

Eventually, the horror will be the new norm that will affect them. When THEY are 'just a woman' with no autonomy, no ability to leave an abusive husband, no access to money she earned because she can't work and can't have a bank account. Short-sighted and a reflection of self-hatred, I think.

Same thing happening in the LGBT community. LGB people will try and say “LGB without the T” to try and “fit in better” with cishet people and be accepted.

Now they’re looking at losing gay marriage. They thought if they turned their back on trans people they’d gain a seat

Definitely a part of the puzzle. It is perplexing to see some really intellectually powerful women attending churches which I know have a policy against women leadership. One of the churches in town has that policy, and then has the gall to give women in leader-ish roles the title "co-laborer."
