It’s dashed my daughter’s hopes for pursuing her master’s degree in health admin, epidemiology. The scholarships and grants are disappearing.. she is putting it on hold until 2027. She has a biology degree- hard to find a job in sciences- esp now.

My daughter is amongst them. Spent the last 2 years interning with the DEA, DA’s office, IRS. Got a job offer. Did the background check/drug testing etc. Booked for 7 months training then 3 year Philly assignment. Then rescinded Jan 23. Has moved home after graduation & is bartending.

My daughter went to grad school to pursue a PhD. She is now hoping that her funding will last long enough to get a Masters due to departmental loss of grants. Don’t know what job prospects will look like after this year, but probably not good!
