This is something that is unfortunately learned for most artists via experience but low priced comms typically generate more entitled or rude clients who expect far too much or more than what’s offered for less money. Price your art for what it’s worth, even if you think no one will buy it!

I had a friend who could NOT sell her art. Then she quadrupled the price and suddenly she started selling like crazy. The art was on display in the same place, just more expensive.
If you feel you *must* have lower prices, be firm with what you’re offering at those rates. Limit revisions free of charge, don’t do character design free of charge (draw characters w/no refs), don’t do sketches before payment, etc.
What y’all do is magic.
Most folks price low because they don't have followers.
More followers = stronger word of mouth reach.
Solutions and ways to help folks break this should be encouraged.
Ended up just saying that it's no longer a priority. If ppl ask they get a response, but I'm no longer going to spam my socials with "I'm open for commissions" when it feels like they get slammed against a wall
