so which is it? Is Abrego Garcia being imprisoned on our dime? Or is the argument just that we deported him to his home country, and now the sovereign of his home country has decided to imprison him for life without trial?

if you'd posted this on twitter you would quickly be informed that A. most magas still believe this guy is a gang member no matter what any judge says, and B. they feel it's appropriate that they face whatever penalty their home country deems necessary, even in the absence of Point A
Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't there an exchange of money? Either the USA got paid (they bought a slave) or they were paid to take him as a prisoner (Concentration camp).
to me, these are the issues and they're much larger than whether or not he's innocent.
We unambiguously are paying El Salvador to imprison the Venezuelans we renditions ($6 million). Unclear if the govt’s position is that Abrego Garcia is part of that agreement.
