With no Lively and AD, going to the rim should be beneficial. Buddy Hield finding his shot again is good to see now that he's a third scorer. Less pressure I guess.

More of Butler taking control while Steph rests, making everyone on the floor better at their own respective games. Then ramping up on the PnR they've been working on when they're on the floor together. And another 30+ night at the foul line so Steph and Dray can calm their elderly bones a bit.

No AD means the paint is there for the Ws. Also, less to worry on offense. Klay had a good game last time they met so that'll be fun. Probably a high scoring game. 😊

Isolate Post in the post. Pure '90s basketball. Pretend he's '98 Shaq. Throw him the ball in the post, stand still, and watch him cook. If he's double or even triple-teamed, he should still shoot. Let him play all 48 minutes, run no other plays.

Dallas has lost all of their tall people. Now that Steve Kerr, bizarrely and ironically, has the tallest player, he needs to sit and watch him do tall person things, and nothing else, for an entire game.

If I'm not mistaken, beyond AD, the Mavs have Gafford, Lively, and even Powell all out. Aside from 2-way player, Kylor Kelly, PJ Washington might be their biggest player, and even he's questionable. So it looks like a small-ball matchup. I hope they look to attack their soft interior early.

I feel when they can establish threats in the paint early, it naturally opens up the outside. Warriors haven't been great from 3-pt recently, so don't start pressing early from outside. Defensively, they need to make Kyrie work, but not ignore any hot hands, and Christie has been hot since arriving
