Sadly I only got into the alley today. For the rest of the weekend I got past 300 in the lottery. I’ve heard mixed reviews from others. I didn’t break even. :/ It’s a lot of me second guessing myself.

Ugh that seriously sucks. I hope you can at least enjoy the rest of the show but low sales can really put a damper on things. It can be really easy to blame yourself but your work is amazing. Sometimes shit just doesn’t align.

Yeah, I know my table does well in a dealers room setting, with more display. I keep telling myself no more artist alleys but I get fomo and everyone raves about sales, for me to not make money. Plus getting into dealers is pretty damn hard now. Thanks tho, I have to remember the positive! 💖

Oof, I never did get to the artist alley today at all. Wanted to but the line was so long and the queue system over worked.

I just read up on the virtual queue system and it seems like it would for sure hurt vendors.

It works at other things because they have a timed end. But a dealers room is not like that at all. If they need to implement this it is time to move your con. Momocon and AWA moved away for this reason. (Dragoncon has its own politics and apparently is an absolute mess)
